Though diagnosed at 11 weeks with a fatal Neural Tube Defect (anencephaly), Elijah defied the doctors by actively growing in my belly & remaining stubbornly there until our scheduled c section date.
Though we only got a few minutes with him, he has changed the world and our lives forever.

Comments: After I lost my daughter Emily Elisabethae on 10 September 13 I was given a bears of hope pack I can not thank you enough or the staff at the hospital I was at. Thank you for donating the bear so I would carry her out of the hospital with me. She now sits in my loungeroom taking a proud place on my mantel.

Comments: I received a little Hope bear while doing a workshop on grieving with Bears of Hope. It is for the baby I miscarried before the stillbirth of my little girl. I’m so appreciative to have this bear, Hope, that I can now place next to her sister bear Sophie.
To the parents of Paisley, I’m deeply sorry for your loss and thank you for playing this part in my grief journey. When I was in high school I was forever drawing doodles in paisley patterns and I’m still attracted to it. The pouch that my daughters ashes are in is made from a fabric embossed with paisley.
