Workplace giving is a connection between employers, employees and Bears Of Hope where businesses demonstrate socially responsible qualities and valuable contributions to their community, employees feel empowered and proud to make a difference to our charity, and Bears Of Hope can further our impact through the generosity received.
You can set up pre-tax donations to Bears Of Hope every pay cycle. Employers may like to also match their employees donations each pay or for an online fundraiser held, to show their support and care.
Check with your HR to see if they already have a Workplace Giving program in place. If they do, please ask them to allocate your donations to Bears Of Hope Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support.
If they don’t have a program in place, we are affiliated with three platforms that you can let HR know about.
When donors give through workplace giving, the tax benefits are immediate. There is no need to organise receipts at the end of June and no risk of missing out on claims through lost paperwork.
Making a donation pre-tax reduces your taxable income, your goodwill goes further and will make a big difference to Bears Of Hope.
Ask your employer about setting up workplace giving for you, to make one-off or regular donations to Bears Of Hope, through payroll.
Take your impact a step further by “Fundraising at Work”. This combines online fundraising with workplace giving and is an intiative between Good2Give and Gofundraise. This all happens when you set up a fundraising page through one of our signature campaigns on the Gofundraise platform and your employer joins the Good2Give workplace giving platform. Work colleagues can then make donations to your page with the added bonus of your employer matching their every dollar.
Throughout the year, Bears of Hope organises resource packing days at our Castle Hill office. We invite corporate groups to volunteer their time to pack these support bags ready to be donated to families across Australia.
