Our beautiful boy Rome Daniel Golaes-Elliott blessed our lives for two months. He is now resting in heavenly peace, after a brave battle with a rare genetic mutation called ABCA3. Rome and Aliyah are now bonded by the purest form of love, that of their parents and of the medical staff that cared for them. May they both rest in eternal peace.

We lost our beautiful baby Rome yesterday. He was 2 months old.
He passed away peacefully in my arms after 60 days in NICU. Everyone fought so hard for him and we were surrounded by love the entire way. He was such a brave boy.

I receieved this bear 3 weeks after losing my baby. It was very hard. Feels like everything I do now has lost its purpose. Thank you, Maeve’s family, for donating this bear and passing on your kindness. The bear now means a lot to me and makes me feel less lonely during this dark time. Dear Poppy Ruth’s family,

Thank you for sharing this little bear in honour of your precious daughter. Through your kindness, Poppy Ruth’s love reached another mother who has just had to say goodbye to her own little girl.

My daughter, Alma Luz, was deeply loved, and although our time together was far too short, she changed my life forever. Your generosity reminds me that the love we have for our children doesn’t end—it continues through acts of compassion like yours.

I will treasure this bear always, and whenever I hold it, I will think of both of our daughters—two little girls whose lives, though brief, left an everlasting mark on this world.

We are the Faulkner family, and we received this beautiful Bear of Hope during our time in hospital with our precious baby boy, Archer.

Archer was born sleeping on 29 December 2025, and this bear brought us comfort and kindness during one of the hardest moments of our lives. We are incredibly grateful to Blair’s family for donating this bear and allowing it to bring comfort to another family experiencing unimaginable heartbreak.

This bear will forever be a special part of Archer’s story, and we hope Blair’s memory continues to be carried with love through the comfort it provides to families like ours.
