Our beautiful daughter Violet Rose’s heart stopped beating at 36 weeks. She was born on 19.04.2020 and we received a Sophie Bear before leaving hospital. Sincerest thanks to Cooper Spud’s family for donating our bear – it was so nice to not have to leave the hospital empty handed, and we will cherish it forever xx

Its an honour to be able to receive this bear gifted to us by the parents of the Koumi twins. We lost our son Nash at 23weeks in December last year and have found confort in knowing that we are not alone and we have been able to receive this gift from another grieving family in honour of their precious babies.

We would love this to be passed on to the Koumi family, I often pray for them and see their sweet babies names every day, they are not forgotten.

I received this amazing little bear when I lost my beautiful little baby girl nevaeh in January 2020 unfortunately nevaeh had a condition called anencephally a condition that baby’s skull does not completely form and unfortunately she didn’t live for long here on earth with us it was such a hard thing to go through and even harder knowing I would have to leave the hospital empty handed and I wouldn’t be taking my baby home this little bear gave me that bit of courage I needed to walk out the doors of the hospital it was that little bit of warming I needed in my heart to know i wasn’t alone and there were other woman out there that have walked the same path I did and for that I want to say thank you

I was so heartbroken 3 1/2 years ago when my daughter Lillian Grace, who was born healthy at 32 weeks, died in my arms when she was 12 days old after contracting a bacterial bug at 6 days while growing strong in NICU. I apologise that it has taken me so long to acknowledge the 2 bears of hope that I received during this heartbreaking time. I received 1 bear to keep me company and another bear that watched over my gorgeous Lillian. The tags where removed from the bears when they were given to me but these 2 bears have comforted me for the last 3 1/2 years and have not been separated since then. I found the tags amongst Lillian’s box of memories. I wanted to say thank you to the parents of Lucy Margaret Gower ?? & Paisley Jane Cashmore ??for the comfort you have given me. I will cherish these bears forever as part of my bears of hope family ?

8 years and 11 months ago my son Zachary Heath Francis was born at 24 weeks and 18 hours later died in my arms from a brain hemorrhage. I received a lovely support pack which helped me but I did not receive a bear. Today 12/05/20, nearly 9 years later I received this beautiful bear and as I opened it I burst into tears and hugged it so tight. Thank you to the Gunning Roos and Rooettes Special Babies, I will cherish this bear for eternity

Dear Bears of Hope and the family of beautiful baby Doward,

Thank you so much for the honour of receiving our Bear of Hope, in loving memory of your baby. This bear means so very much to our family after the loss of our daughter Emma Rose on 10th March this year.

Instead of bringing our daughter home from the hospital, we were at least able to have this wonderful bear to hold and it has brought me great comfort. I feel connected to Emma when I cuddle and kiss our bear and want to tell you how much I appreciate it. Thank you so much.

All our love,

Joey, Rob and Abel.
