Comments: I lost a twin pregnancy in February 2012. I received my bear of hope while in hospital. Even though I was already a mother to my 2 year old daughter, It wasn’t until I opened the tag on my bear, and saw Millie- Jayne’s name, that I fully felt the weight of what I had lost.
Soon after my miscarriage, I fell pregnant again with my 2nd daughter. Our rainbow baby. Who we named Zoe Millie- Jayne- born December 2014. A loving and cheeky little sister to Madison.
I keep my bear in Zoe’s room. One day when she is old enough, we will explain to her why her name is so special.

Comments: My Husband & I have just experienced our first miscarriage and are absolutely devastated. We had been trying to conceive our little miracle for 3 years with many health complications and were just about to start ivf when we found out we had fallen pregnant naturally. We were told we’d never have children and then were blessed with our Little One only to find out that our pregnancy wasn’t viable. The pain is real and agonising but I have found a bit of comfort in your website and being able to connect with those who have been through something similar.
We were told at 8 weeks that I had suffered from a missed miscarriage but it just doesnt feel real.

I am so grateful that I was admitted into the most amazing public hospital and we received so much support. Our social worker gave us a Bears of Hope package while I was in recovery from the operation and I was so touched. I held my little teddy and cried and cried. The frame was so special. The seeds to plant and all the information has helped us begin to heal. I felt so connected to all Women and couples who have been through this devastation. We have been so grateful.
Bubba G was our first baby and will always be in my heart. Always and every day since the termination I think of him and tell him that I love him. My partner and I will start to try again for a baby late this year/early next year. I know that it will be hard and I will feel afraid. In the end I choose love. I can’t wait to be pregnant and then have little children filling up our home. We have so much love to give.
