This was our first baby together and I was especially looking forward to being a mum and my partner to be a dad again. Unfortunately, my pregnancy didn’t progress. I received ‘Hope’ sent by my sister. Thank you.

We had the privilege of recieving this bear during our toughest time. Though we couldn’t take our baby home, we can carry this bear in our arms when we miss her. We hope we can pass on a gift in honour of our baby girl to another family in need in the future.

We received our bear on the day we went to the hospital to begin the induction process after our son, MJ, passed away at 33 weeks in November 2024. Grief is such a unique experience for each person, and the loss of a child can feel incredibly lonely. But this little bear is a reminder that my partner and I are not alone in our grief, and in that, we find a bittersweet comfort.

Ten years on, Angel Williams #1 and Angel Williams #2 are surely carried in the hearts of their loved ones—but they are also now carried in ours. In the hardest moments of our lives, we have felt the kindness of those who have walked this path before us, and that kindness has meant more than words can express. This little bear is now a forever-treasured member of our family, reminding us that MJ is not alone. We like to think that as he became an angel, Angel Williams #1 and Angel Williams #2 were there, holding his little hands.

06/08/2024 the day we lost our son. Archer Louie Griffiths.
You will forever be the son we had, but never had – and yet will have forever.
Now our ‘bear of hope’ ‘Charlotte Jane Wilson’ that we received is a connection for our 3 year old daughter and her little brother that she won’t get to meet again. What an amazing bear that helps bring us all together. To Charlotte’s parents I am so sorry for your loss, but please know that this bear in your daughters name has helped my family through a lot and will be treasured for ever.

Our baby girl Peyton was born on the 17th of February at 8:50am. Peyton was born silent, born still, but still born. At just 27 weeks, she wasn’t meant for this world. Peyton weighed 558grams and was 31cm long. Our long little girl 💕

She has changed our lives forever though, as Peyton has made Will and I parents and we are so so grateful to have met and held her in our arms.

Nothing in life quite prepares you for the loss of a child and how heavy that can feel.

We want to thank Benjamin’s parents for the donation of the Sophie bear which has given us so much comfort and love during this incredibly difficult time. Your baby Benjamin’s legacy lives on in our home 🩷
