Our perfect baby boy Ralph Jose was born at peace on the 30th of July 2021. At 18 weeks he was too early for his world. He was named after his great grand fathers who we like to think are holding him safe. We got to hold him and spend time with him in hospital, but one of the hardest parts of the whole experience was explaining to his 2 year old sister why mummy didn’t have a baby in her tummy any more, and why her brother wasn’t coming home. We gave her this bear and she knows it’s a gift from her brother, who has gone to be a star in the sky. She sleeps with it every night, and calls it Brother Bear. It has brought us so much comfort. The invisible string that ties us together, Ottie and Ralph, and all those who experience loss, is a balm through this unimaginable time.

I’m so sorry that this has happened to you, as i feel the pain you have endured. I lost my baby boy on the 17/09/2021 and I never had a chance to hold him or see him. He will never get to call me mummy but I will forever hold and cherish this bear in memory of your son, and mine.

We had a late miscarriage of twins mid last year . Then we started IVF last year we became pregnant again in June through IVF with triplets and we had another miscarriage at 10 weeks. We are both hurting so much some days I am ok and other days I am a mess. We just want a baby of our own.

On the 29th August 2021 we received a Bears of Hope bag in the Antenatal Ward at Nepean Hospital, while dealing with the loss of our second baby (both in heaven) due to an ectopic pregnancy. The bag gave me, in particular, so much comfort knowing I wasn’t alone and seeing the gorgeous little bear with “Olivia Rose” made me cry. I look at the bear everyday and think of the beautiful little girl she might have been, with my two babies. I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me hope and comfort, at what has been the worst point in our lives so far. All our love to your family from ours.

My beautiful Sophie passed away last month and receiving this beautiful Bear in honour of your little boy fills my heart with so much Joy. The fact that the bear is called Sophie, I just adore. Harvey’s bear is in with my Sophie, let’s hope they find one another wherever they are 💜💕

These bears provide comfort in such a heartbreaking moment, they make it feel a little less lonely. Thank you to the Bain Family for our Sophie Bear. It gave us some light in the darkness. I’m so sorry you lost Luke and Zoe.
