We were given a bear.

We received a bear after the birth of our little Albie Jack Stephens.
Our 3 year old boy Ollie immediately bonded and found comfort with the Sadie Grace bear we were given in hospital.
Ollie sleeps with Sadie Grace and when she is misplaced we walk through our home looking for and her calling her name, ‘Sadie Grace, where are you?’
Ollie understands Sadie bear is named after a little baby like Albie, her name card sits with Albie’s ashes.

To Sadie’s parents, Sadie Grace bear is very loved in our home and we thank you for the comfort she has given us.

Our little Maddison bear gave us a reason to smile on our darkest day. It is a small comfort to know that others have gone through similar loss and sought to help others heal through the pain. We hope time has helped eased your burden, as it will ours one day too. We were expecting to meet our baby daughter Evie Harper on 11th Oct 2023 via cesarean. After a routine 36 week check up she was beautiful and healthy on the monitor . 76 hours later we learnt the devastating news that she had passed . Our beautiful daughter was born sleeping on 29th September 2023 at 6:18am. My husband and my 2 year old son and our family were fortunate enough to spend 2 days with her. The heartbreak is indescribable.
We are so grateful to Renee and Marty for the bears of hope package , reminding us in this darkness and grief we are not alone and introducing us to this platform. The Sophie bear honouring Harlem sits cuddling our daughter , Evie Harper in her own teddy bear on Evie’s shelf.
We will be sure to pass it forward .
