My husband and I lost our pregnancy at 5 weeks on August 7th, 2024. We were, and are, devastated. After spending 5 days in hospital with a life threatening infection we struggled to deal with our loss and altered lives. In October the nurse at my GP clinic told me about Bears of Hope and we decided to request a Bear of Hope to remind us to continue to be hopeful for the future. Thank you, Claude’s family. We are so terribly sorry for the devastation you must continue to feel. Please know your generosity has lightened our hearts. We give you our love and thank you sincerely.

We did not know about bears of hope until we received all the information after a missed miscarriage, September 2022. We were diagnosed initially with a partial molar pregnancy, and when we received our bear, we thought that our journey was going to be delayed even further. Our bear provided a lot of comfort at the time and still sits on my night stand. Thank you to the Brown family, and bears of hope. It sure did bring a bit of light in such a difficult time.

We received a Bear of Hope in loving memory of Opie Karl Constable 24/06/2024 after we lost and birthed our little son, Pippin Valentine Wren on 03/10/2024, at just 21 weeks This little Bear of Hope from Opie, has made us feel less alone during this difficult time, to know other families have lived through a loss before has helped. Pippin was our first child, but we hope that the bear of hope we have received will also be cherished and loved by one of his siblings in the future. We will be donating another bear to a future family, so that they also know that they are not alone.
