My husband & I were given our bear in hospital when we lost our beautiful little boy Jesse in August at 12 weeks gestation very unexpectedly. We were blessed to be able to see him though, he was perfectly formed, 5 fingers & toes, ear buds, nose, mouth & tiny body.
We also lost our little girl Chloe at 28 weeks gestation in September 2018 due to a rare heart condition.
We did not receive a bear though at that time.
We have also suffered 3 miscarriages but have been blessed with 2 little boys in 2019/2021.
Due to the pain of Jesse being our fifth loss I had looked at the bear in honour of your girls however did not realise until this evening that our bear was for two siblings as I thought the surname was different.
We share & understand your deep grief & loss & I pray & hope that you have been able to grow your family.
We have a bear that we bought when we lost Chloe. Your bear in honour of your girls Ellie & Maddie will sit with Chloe in remembrance of our boy Jesse. I can just picture the four of them sitting together looking down on us from heaven.
We intend to gift a bear to another grieving family in honour of our babies as you have done.
Thank you so much for this precious gift.

Received a bear and bag when we lost our baby
The bag with information, support and the bear meant so much to us when we lost our baby girl Cora Quinn. I would love for Billy’s Mum to know that her donation really helped us in the worst time of our life. It helped our 2 year old daughter and is still helping us sitting with our daughters precious belongs.

When we lost our little boy
Thank you so much for our bear. Our little Arlo David Sutherland was born sleeping on March the 1st 2022 at 29+6 weeks. He wasn’t sent to his autopsy, and was alone for a week and we were so thankful that your bear was there the entire time. He now sits at home for his older twin brother and sister to cuddle while they grow. There are no words to thank you enough for that.
Loving regards from the Sutherland family

I lost my twins in Jan 2022. I have only just opened my bears of hope package as I didn’t want to think about them until I was ready. So sorry for the loss of Alexander. My babies died before I knew if they were boys or girls.

Thank you. Our babies died before we could find out if they were boys or girls. Thinking of your Grayson.

My husband and I received a Bears of Hope bag
My husband and I received a Bears of Hope bag before we left the hospital after our firstborn baby girl, Elvene, passed shortly after we welcomed her to the world on 14/12/2022. We cannot thank Bears of Hope and little Autumn Ava Paroz (and her loved one who donated in her name) enough for providing us with such a worthwhile resource that brought us (and is still bringing us) a lot of comfort. We hope that Autumn and Elvene are both resting easy wherever they are.
Much love,

Just wanted to say thanks to the parents who donated the bear, in honour of their baby Adi.
Our baby Finn had a cystic hygromas and then edema. He was a fighter until the end. After 22 weeks, things turned for the worst.
Thank you for being a part of our lives, even though you were in the mother’s womb and never came to age, you are still our child and we’ll always love you.

Given a bear in Hospital
Receiving this bear after the loss of my daughter Claudia, during labour at 41 weeks (23/11/22), gave me so much comfort & perspective.
As hard as it was, it became easier to comprehend the sad reality that stillborn’s do occur & I wasn’t the only woman to go through this terrible process.
I thank the person who donated this bear.
I hope your grief is eased in knowing your bear has eased mine & together, we can heal just that little bit more…….
A moment whereby one little bear can turn strangers into friends, when heaven touches earth….
Your bear will always have a place in my heart & in my home.
Merry Christmas!
Love Amanda Clarke and Baby Claudia Faye Kerr. 2022.
