I received a bear the day my beautiful Emilia was born.
I was so heartbroken and devastated, that I couldn’t open or see Emilia’s things and photos up until today.
I am still heartbroken, I am still hurting like I have never before, but I decided to open her little box of things. I found the bear; it was right next to her when they took the photos. It is one of the most precious things that I have from her, since it touched her, it was next to her, and it is the only thing I have left now to carry in my arms.
Thank you to the family that donated this bear to us. I am so sorry that we both had to go through the same pain, grieve and sorrow. To Sophie, you will be forever loved and remembered.

This was my first pregnancy. It was a surprise that filled us with so much joy. The loss was traumatic, however receiving Poppy, our Bear of Hope, helped us realise that we weren’t alone in having this experience and that there was support to help us get through. Thank you to the McCormack family for sharing Poppy – she is a positive light for us in our grieving process.

Thank you for gifting us a little bear in memory of your son Max. We lost our first little one from miscarriage in 2019. We didn’t know Bears of Hope existed until recently, when we lost our baby daughter Lottie, so we never received support for that loss. To have their life recognised in this way means so much to us.
