My husband and I are so grateful for the Bears of Hope care package it was so lovely and we felt truly considered. Although miscarriage is common it doesn’t make it any less heartbreaking (as many of us know) and although it’s an awful thing to have in common with so many people I feel blessed that we can share the journey, love, and compassion with other grieving parents. I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks, something we never thought would happen to us and something that we will never forget. This was our second child and we were so excited to complete our family.
We hug our daughter a little tighter now.

The bear brought me great comfort, To know I wasn’t alone, I prayed for Cooper and his family, I also have a son called Cooper in which I thought receiving this bear with the same name as my son also brought comfort and I thought it could have been a sign . I cannot send the family of Patrick Charles enough for letting me find comfort in that I am not alone and that my Alice has hopefully found Patrick Charles and isn’t alone. Patrick Charles has a very special place in my heart and is frequently thought of alone with my own children. I have a son who’s birthday is the day before and each year we sing happy birthday to Patrick on his birthday. I don’t know if you will ever read this but if you do I want to say thank you for your kindness, your strength in sharing a piece of Patrick.
