My partner and I received Theodore Graham on the day I had D&C surgery for our missed miscarriage. It brought us both to tears, we are ever so thankful for this. Though our hearts our broken, it brought us some light in a dark tunnel.

It’s strange how many thoughts and words are in my head to express thanks for the bear in honour of your loss to help us with ours yet I can’t put them into any order that makes any sense, but I guess that’s what these situations do (not make sense) I’m not sure if what I’ve written here does make sense. All we can say is thankyou and hope that somewhere down the track we can return the favour for another family. I think that while it is good to know that we aren’t in this alone it is also devastating to know that someone else had/has to experience this situation but I guess the hope in this program is that someday someone won’t have too. Once again thankyou for your support and return our support for you also!

Thank you to the family of Grace Ella. It was 2015 and I had given birth to identical twins Sophie and Alessandra. Sophie was stillborn and Alessandra was whisked away to the SICU. I felt very alone in the maternity ward. I was given a pack with a bear, a Sophie bear donated on behalf of Grace Ella, I instantly felt a connection and felt that I wasn’t alone. I vowed that when I was strong enough I would donate on behalf of my Sophie just like the family of Grace Ella. Today is that day. Thank you Grace Ella and family xx
