I lost my twins in Jan 2022. I have only just opened my bears of hope package as I didn’t want to think about them until I was ready. So sorry for the loss of Alexander. My babies died before I knew if they were boys or girls.

Thank you. Our babies died before we could find out if they were boys or girls. Thinking of your Grayson.

My husband and I received a Bears of Hope bag
Comments

My husband and I received a Bears of Hope bag before we left the hospital after our firstborn baby girl, Elvene, passed shortly after we welcomed her to the world on 14/12/2022. We cannot thank Bears of Hope and little Autumn Ava Paroz (and her loved one who donated in her name) enough for providing us with such a worthwhile resource that brought us (and is still bringing us) a lot of comfort. We hope that Autumn and Elvene are both resting easy wherever they are.

Much love,

Katelyn & Adam McKay

Just wanted to say thanks to the parents who donated the bear, in honour of their baby Adi.

Our baby Finn had a cystic hygromas and then edema. He was a fighter until the end. After 22 weeks, things turned for the worst.

Thank you for being a part of our lives, even though you were in the mother’s womb and never came to age, you are still our child and we’ll always love you.

Given a bear in Hospital
Comments

Receiving this bear after the loss of my daughter Claudia, during labour at 41 weeks (23/11/22), gave me so much comfort & perspective.

As hard as it was, it became easier to comprehend the sad reality that stillborn’s do occur & I wasn’t the only woman to go through this terrible process.

I thank the person who donated this bear.
I hope your grief is eased in knowing your bear has eased mine & together, we can heal just that little bit more…….
A moment whereby one little bear can turn strangers into friends, when heaven touches earth….
Your bear will always have a place in my heart & in my home.

Merry Christmas!

Love Amanda Clarke and Baby Claudia Faye Kerr. 2022.

Provided support after my miscarriage
Comments

I honour the life of Luna Joy Rowett and know that she will forever be in the hearts of her parents. In August this year I lost my baby at 18 weeks gestation. We named her Charlie. Our hearts are slowly healing after a tough few months. We are grateful for what we have but will always keep a piece of hearts and minds aside for our lost babies.

I received a bear

I went for my first scan alone to be told there was no heartbeat and I had a ‘missed miscarriage’ (in that there were no signs of miscarriage), so it was quite a shock. I am lucky to have two beautiful boys already, but was in no way prepared for how much my heart would ache for the baby I had only carried for 9 weeks and I cried as I entered theatre for the D&C. Thank you for the bear, it is comforting but also saddens me to know I am not alone. I hope the Crawford family have healed from their loss of Vallie and wish them success in their family journey.

I am a midwife and have helped women through loss. Unfortunately two months ago I lost my twin baby girls at 19 weeks and received two bears and a package from the beautiful social worker in hospital.
Comments

I lost my baby girls to complications form Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome at 19 weeks, after 4 long weeks of ultrasounds, waiting for an opportunity to perform the laser treatment.
Due to position of my placenta we could not attempt the life saving treatment.
The bears we received have given me and my husband comfort in our darkest of days. We would like to help another family in their time of need.
