Our son Fletcher Joel Hughes was born sleeping at 26 weeks on May 2 2024. We received a bear from Bears of Hope donated in memory of Ryder Wayne Jackson born 17/8/2014. Thankyou to Ryder’s family for the beautiful bear, we are thinking of you all and Ryder especially now around the 10 year anniversary of his passing.

Your bear was sent to us by bears of hope in honour of your beautiful baby boy Herbert Elio Theodore Welsh.
Which will sit with all of our Daughters belongs and memories in our lounge room.
We lost our beautiful baby Girl Blair Willow Riley on the 30-05-2024 she was born 6 weeks before her due date her little heart stopped beating and she was born sleeping.

We received Angus’s bear after our second loss which was in the second trimester. This bear has had a special place in our home since the day we received it & has provided us comfort on days that make it hard to comprehend what we have been through. We are beyond grateful for the donation & to Angus’s parents for this bear, it has a special place with our other bears we have received for our other babies.

We received Poppy’s bear after our first loss, a miscarriage at 12 weeks. Poppy’s bear has remained on my bed side table since the day I got it. It provided us comfort on the darkest days. After 2 months of scans and tests due to an abnormality, we found out last Tuesday that our baby girl had no heartbeat and had passed away. We went on to give birth to her 3 days later at 17+3 weeks which was the most difficult day of our lives. We named her Grace.
We were very touched when the social worker at the hospital introduced us to bears of hope and to receive a bear from another family who had been in our position. I would like to pass on our gratitude to this family – your little boy has blessed us.
