Miscarriage and stillbirth support is vitally important. While there’s a good chance our bodies will heal themselves physically with the right care, the emotional effects of pregnancy loss can be harder for both women and men to handle and work through. Seeking support from a Geelong psychologist at Happy Minds Psychology can be crucial in addressing these deep emotional wounds, providing a path toward healing and understanding.

Based in Thornbury (Melbourne), I offer a culturally aware, trauma-informed sanctuary where modern clinical neuroscience meets ancient ancestral wisdom. Grounded in my Māori, Polynesian and European heritage, as well as my lived experience as a queer, late-diagnosed neurodiverse (AuDHD) person, I provide deeply empathetic support for those navigating complex trauma, identity and sensory processing differences. My approach integrates Somatic Psychotherapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Hypnotherapy to regulate the nervous system and access the subconscious at your own pace. Having navigated my own journey through complex trauma, loss, and family planning without traditional family support, I bring a profound understanding of the grieving process and the resilience required to heal. Whether you are seeking LGBTIQA+ affirming care or a space that honors the intersection of the personal and the political, I am here to offer the clarity and steady support you deserve.
