Uday Desai
Uday is a father of a strong, mature teenage daughter and a lost dream. This dream keeps on prompting him to do what is right by the family and bigger society.
Currently, he practices counselling through Aum Holistic. He is proud to be instrumental in saving many lives while working with Lifeline.
In 2016, Uday completed his post-graduation in Counselling. And in a previous life, has worked in Information Technology and as an Engineer. Uday has also worked in many other fields.
Uday practices Meditation and Mindfulness and as a part of self-actualization journey in 2021-2022 Uday walked 3500 Kms on the banks of Narmada River, India as a monk. Uday uses an integrated, person-centred approach, drawing on many contemporary models of counselling into his practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Existential Therapy and Trauma Informed Therapy.
