Matilda-Rose Nobbs 15/8/19

We received our bear after an early miscarriage during lockdown that left us devastated during an already hard time. We received it from close friends who knew our pain ten-fold. In a delightful coincidence, the name Matilda-Rose spoke to both my friend and I for different reasons, and we knew this bear was meant to be.
To Matilda-Rose’s parents, thank you for donating this bear, who brings me to tears every time I touch it’s soft, soft fur – sometimes out of sadness, sometimes out of gratitude. I think of your little girl every time I see the bear, nestled on my desk. I hope you’re doing well. Thank you for sharing the love and reminding us that we’re not alone. xx
