Jesse would of just celebrated his 15th Birthday

I have been thinking about your mum Jesse, and your story, how you came into my world.

I hope that your mum gets to read this and know that you have been my sleeping buddy, crying buddy.

Leaving the hospital without my baby was the hardest thing, but having the bear to hold, somehow made you realise you’re not alone, and so many women have been here before you.

I never wanted this to happen, but the support from strangers has probably kept me going for my beautiful baby Sophie Katherine McCarthy

I know family and friends have donated bears in Sophie’s name, I just hope one day I hear how my Sophie bears help someone else
