We were expecting to meet our baby daughter Evie Harper on 11th Oct 2023 via cesarean. After a routine 36 week check up she was beautiful and healthy on the monitor . 76 hours later we learnt the devastating news that she had passed . Our beautiful daughter was born sleeping on 29th September 2023 at 6:18am. My husband and my 2 year old son and our family were fortunate enough to spend 2 days with her. The heartbreak is indescribable.
We are so grateful to Renee and Marty for the bears of hope package , reminding us in this darkness and grief we are not alone and introducing us to this platform. The Sophie bear honouring Harlem sits cuddling our daughter , Evie Harper in her own teddy bear on Evie’s shelf.
We will be sure to pass it forward .
