Ottie John Dullard

Our perfect baby boy Ralph Jose was born at peace on the 30th of July 2021. At 18 weeks he was too early for his world. He was named after his great grand fathers who we like to think are holding him safe. We got to hold him and spend time with him in hospital, but one of the hardest parts of the whole experience was explaining to his 2 year old sister why mummy didn’t have a baby in her tummy any more, and why her brother wasn’t coming home. We gave her this bear and she knows it’s a gift from her brother, who has gone to be a star in the sky. She sleeps with it every night, and calls it Brother Bear. It has brought us so much comfort. The invisible string that ties us together, Ottie and Ralph, and all those who experience loss, is a balm through this unimaginable time.
