Received our bear
Comments

We lost our son, Alex Archer, in January this year and received our ‘bear of hope’ last month. Six months on, the event still remains devastating and difficult to deal with. We are very thankful for the extremely thoughtful actions of the couple who donated it to us in honour of Alex. They went through their own trauma and their kind words, wishes, and fellowship are so deeply appreciated. Alex the bear has taken pride of place with Alex Archer on a shelf, together with his mementos. We view them every day. Thanks again to the marvelous couple and my deepest sympathies to everyone who has had to undergo such pain.

We Received a bear from Hawkesbury Hospital
Comments

At 37 weeks pregnant with our first child, We received the horrible news that our little boys heart had stopped beating. It was the worst day of our lives, it is something so heart crushing and numbing, that no one should have to go through. We were given a Bears of Hope bag with Lewis's bear, it was comforting knowing we weren't alone in this journey and something we could cuddle.

Our little boy, Tate Oliver Cruse was born 4 days later on the 31st May 2022, he was absolutely perfect in every way.

Thanks to Bears of Hope we were lucky enough to have a cuddle cot available to spend precious time with our boy.

This is an amazing charity that needs more attention and awareness. I am deeply sorry for the loss of sweet Lewis.

To the family of ‘James Felton’ , we are honoured to have received the bear. Our ‘Zorawar’ was still born on 1/06/2022 and we received the bear very next day. We are humbled and it’s comforting to know we have a community of people who cares. My warm regards to the ‘Felton’ family.

Comments

Ava’s bear was a reminder that we are not alone in the loss of our daughter Abby. Thank you for helping us see there are other people in this world who have been through what we have and can understand. We are right at the beginning of our grief but this has really helped. Thank you to Ava’s parents

Thank you for the beautiful gift of a Sophie Bear. We lost our beautiful daughter Amelia at 17 weeks and it brought tears to my eyes when the midwife told us another bereaving family had donated us a bear to give us hope.

I know that all our little angels are looking down at us with love for our families.
