Kokoda Trek 2020
Join Team Bears Of Hope on the Kokoda Trail from 24th July – 2nd August 2020. This is a trek that you can feel proud to say you’ve completed; as a mark of respect to Australian wartime history, as a personal challenge and to help make a difference for a cause you care about.
*POSTPONED TO 2021*
A physically and mentally challenging trek into the heartland of Papua New Guinea, the Kokoda Trail holds a very important place in Australian history. Commencing at Ower’s Corner, your trek follows the 96km Kokoda Trail across the Owen Stanley Range to the Village of Kokoda. You will be spoilt by a constant backdrop of pristine rainforest wilderness, and local villages providing a unique cultural perspective.
Organised by Adventure Excellence, we invite you to join Team Bears Of Hope for the experience of a lifetime. Doing the training, the preparation, and ultimately the journey of the Kokoda Trail whilst fundraising for the benefit of families who experience the loss of their baby, will generate a true sense of purpose for you. You will have the support of others, the sense of belonging to a cause, and the knowledge that what you are doing matters.
