Bears of Hope – Bay of Fires Trek 2025
1- 4 November 2025
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Tasmania’s East Coast on this four-day adventure, while helping fund essential support and resources for families grieving the loss of their baby.
Every day in Australia, 1 in 4 pregnancies end in early loss, 6 babies are stillborn, and 3 babies die before their first birthday. A miscarriage occurs every 3.5 minutes. These are heart-wrenching statistics that reflect an urgent need for support.
Bears of Hope Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support is dedicated to acknowledging these precious babies and offering safe, non-judgmental spaces for families to grieve and heal. We provide essential services like counselling, parent-led and psychologist-facilitated support groups, private online communities, and annual events that honour each baby and their parents’ love.
We need your help to continue this vital work.
Join us on an unforgettable journey through Tasmania’s breathtaking Bay of Fires. Over four days, you’ll trek along pristine beaches, feel the soft white sands beneath your feet, wander through serene eucalypt forests, and, if you’re lucky, spot Australian fur seals basking on granite boulders beside crystal-clear waters.. It’s a chance to connect with nature—and make a meaningful impact on families experiencing unimaginable loss.
Together, we can walk this journey of hope and healing.
