It’s strange how many thoughts and words are in my head to express thanks for the bear in honour of your loss to help us with ours yet I can’t put them into any order that makes any sense, but I guess that’s what these situations do (not make sense) I’m not sure if what I’ve written here does make sense. All we can say is thankyou and hope that somewhere down the track we can return the favour for another family. I think that while it is good to know that we aren’t in this alone it is also devastating to know that someone else had/has to experience this situation but I guess the hope in this program is that someday someone won’t have too. Once again thankyou for your support and return our support for you also!

Thank you to the family of Grace Ella. It was 2015 and I had given birth to identical twins Sophie and Alessandra. Sophie was stillborn and Alessandra was whisked away to the SICU. I felt very alone in the maternity ward. I was given a pack with a bear, a Sophie bear donated on behalf of Grace Ella, I instantly felt a connection and felt that I wasn’t alone. I vowed that when I was strong enough I would donate on behalf of my Sophie just like the family of Grace Ella. Today is that day. Thank you Grace Ella and family xx

Thank you for the lovely bear and the care package. We miscarriaged at 8 weeks and let go of our angel baby today.
It gives us some peace thinking that baby Lana is up there welcoming our angel and hopefully taking care of each other.

We want to thank Bears of Hope and the family of Oaklen Anthony Henderson for the beautiful gift of this Bear of Hope. In this difficult time, it is nice to have the recognition, community and something to cuddle. My husband and I had actually picked Anthony as a middle name so receiving this bear was extra special. Thank you to Simon’s family for donating this little bear that sits with our little boy, Luke Eli Overall. It brought enormous comfort during the worst time of our lives.
