Early Pregnancy Loss Recognition
In some States and Territories early pregnancy loss recognition certificates are available from Births, Deaths and Marriages. This is a huge step forward in helping break the silence and taboo surrounding early pregnancy loss. We hope in time these will be available Australia wide.
These certificates are available for parents to recognise their loss if the loss occurred before 20 weeks, or if weeks are unknown, your baby weighed less than 400g.
