Grief and Loss
A Mother's Tears
By Nicole Wyborn
A Mother’s Tears tells the story of midwife Nicole Wyborn and her husband Kane, who after suffering two miscarriages lost their second child to stillbirth. The story is intensely emotional but ultimately uplifting. A Mother’s Tears follows Nicole and Kane’s journey as they learn to deal with the death of their son, as well as the steps they take to rebuild their shattered lives and the safe arrival of a second son. Written with raw honesty by Nicole, a trained midwife and prenatal educator, this book offers hope and encouragement to all those suffering from the loss of a child.
Empty Cradle, Broken Heart
This is an excellent resource for bereaved parents. It helped me realise that what I was feeling was completely normal and that it is ok to not be ok. The best part is that this book offers advice in greiving, medical advice, and insight for other family members. Nothing will bring back Bailey, but this book is helping us though the grieving and healing process. The most useful book I have found so far. (Review by J. Thomas)

She lived and breathed this exciting life before she decided it was time to become a mother. In this courageous, moving and powerful memoir, Jane writes about her journey to motherhood, and the heartbreaking plight of her son Jackson, born too early, too small, with unflinching honesty. Jane Hansen grew up in Byron Bay before studying communications in Brisbane. She has worked for Channel Seven and Channel Ten but is best known for her reportage from various hotspots around the globe for the Nine Network. Jane lives in Sydney with her husband and son.

Trying Again: A guide to pregnancy after Miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss
This book is different because it focuses on that fragile period between having suffered the loss of a child and the decision to, and the act of, trying to become pregnant with another one. It is helpful in the fact that you read about others losses and experiences. It also contains a fair bit of useful medical info aswell. (Review by J. Thomas)

This book, produced by SANDS has many parent stories that covers different stages such as, Immediate Feelings, Experiences in hospital and Looking back. Very easy to read and comforting in a way to know that you are not the only person going through this. (Review by J. Thomas)
